For certainty, we may also use your personal information for the purposes described within the Adidem terms of use found here (the “Terms of Use”).   2. COLLECTION AND USE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

You may be asked to provide your personal information anytime you are in contact with Adidem and you will be required to provide your personal information if you create a user account with Adidem (and an account is required to use the Adidem software on the Website). Adidem and its affiliates may share this personal information with each other and use it consistent with this Privacy Policy or the Terms of Use. Adidem may also combine your personal information with other information to provide and improve our products, services, content, and advertising.
    2. We may process your personal information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and the Adidem Terms of Use with your consent, including for compliance with a legal obligation to which Adidem is subject or when we have assessed it is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by Adidem or a third party to whom it may be necessary to disclose information.
    3. The personal information we collect allows us to keep you posted on legal proposals submitted to you, Adidem’s latest product announcements, software updates, request reviews for services rendered by lawyers (or other persons) that may have provided you with services or for lawyers, fees for using the Website where applicable. If you don’t want to be on our mailing list, you can opt out anytime by updating your user account.
    4. When you create an account on Adidem, you will be required to input personal information about you or your potential legal claim, your services in response to a legal claim. This is required so we can confirm that you are in fact a real person and so we or a lawyer providing a proposal to you can actually connect with you in response to your claim. Adidem may also collect a variety of information, including your name, mailing address, government issue ID, phone number, email address, contact preferences. device identifiers, IP address, location information, nature and type of your injuries, insurance information, financial information, credit card information, settlement information, quotation information, employment information, benefits, price of your services, among other personal information (as applicable depending on the user of the Website). In addition, we may also collect your computer operating system type, browser type, browser language, the website you visited before browsing to our Site, pages you viewed, how long you spent on a page, access times and information about your use of and actions on our Website.
    5. The information we collect is collected for the following reasons:
      • to confirm you are a real person and to help us and lawyers providing proposals confirm your claim is real;
      • in order for lawyers to provide legal proposals to you with respect to your claim;
      • to improve the Website, products, and services;
      • to better cater and market to our customers, as well as learn about how users use of the software and make decisions with respect to legal proposals or the software;
      • to respond to your customer service requests, comments and questions;
      • to send periodic emails regarding our products and services;
      • to follow up with you after correspondence (live chat, email or phone inquiries);
      • to protect, investigate, and deter against fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity;
      • for account and network security purposes, including in order to protect our services for the benefit of all our users;

  3. SOURCE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION WHERE THEY ARE NOT COLLECTED FROM YOU

We may have received your personal information from other persons if that person has shared their content with you using Adidem software or at www.adidemlaw.com, including all subdomains (the “Website”). We may also validate the information provided by you when creating an account with Adidem with a third party for security and fraud prevention purposes.
    2. For research and development purposes, we may use datasets such as those that contain images, voices or other data that could be associated with an identifiable person. When acquiring such datasets, we do so in accordance with applicable law in the jurisdiction in which the dataset is hosted. When using such datasets for research and development, we do not attempt to re-identify individuals who may appear therein.
  4. COLLECTION AND USE OF NON-PERSONAL INFORMATION

    1. We also collect data in a form that does not, on its own, permit direct association with any specific individual. We may collect, use, transfer, and disclose non-personal information for any purpose. The following are some examples of non-personal information that we collect and how we may use it:
